As my Maggie-blog is a place for me to keep track of myself, I have almost forgotten to post a link to JD’s new blog post “Are there any limits to the Constitutional court`s jurisdiction in labour matters?“. At the moment I am trying to “tone him down” into the kind of legal language that I can understand – and I must confess -it is a work in progress. On the other hand, I am learning new words that I have NEVER heard before- that my darling hubbie assures me, is commonplace in the legal world. So I am still working on him to make the legal world jargon more accessable to us mere mortals. It is a bit like reading Shakespeare. It sounds great and meaningful, but quite difficult to internalise.
So instead of me trying to create a summary, I think I am going to challenge my husband to come up with a user-friendly summation. Maybe we can then do a vote on if we understood it or not.
For the brave ones that want to give it a go: Go here: Are there any limits to the Constitutional court`s jurisdiction in labour matters?.
