I was contacted last week by Lydia Ngoetjana from Telkom to enquire why we are not paying our Parktown office account. When I informed her that we ahve relocated offices and have terminated our Telkom account she was very surprised as according to her, it was in arrears and very much still active. I told her that Telkom has even colklected the Parktown PABX and the account is therefore for a service that we have no equipment for. The systems did not reflect that! Well what can I say???? SO I have now passed on proof of canvcellation yet again... My e-mail to her.... As you can see from the correspondance, Telkom should have been aware of the termination as Telkom has collected the leased equipment!!!!! I cannot comprehend that (yet again) nobody seems to know what is going on. Please find included the proof of cancellation (see last few pages of included fax) which was done on the 26 of February 2010. It is shocking that Telkom's internal communication systems are so bad.
